Cam or not to Cam?
« on: October 25, 2010, 12:46:35 PM »

I am considering putting cams in my 2010 CVO with the hopes that it will increase the low end and mid range torque?  What cams are the best for what i want to accomplish?  I had 525's on my 07 Roadglide and it got the job done, plus it really rounded out the sound and made the bike louder!

I am currently running a stock bike with Rinehart True Duals (4 1/2"), performace baffles, a high flow air intake, and ThunderMax TBW autotuner.

Right now, I like the sound of the bike.  It is very reasonable at highway speeds, but it will really crack when you open the throttle.  I also know that i lost a lot of fuel economy with my other bike by adding the cams.  not that i really care, but it's nice not to have to stop before everyone else has to?  Those with just cams, and true duals, is there a big change in the sound?

Try the andrews 54g cams, or the s&s 585 g gear drives. both work great on the 110's

I'm very happy with my new cycle-rama 575's.
