Hey all,

Many thanks for all the suggestions on my trip back from Phoenix...  we were in a BIG hurry to get home so I didn't have a lot of time to "stop" and take a bunch of pix but I sure took a BUNCH while rolling along the way...

We left Sacramento early Friday morning and rolled I-5 to LA and I-10 all the way to Phoenix in one day. 813 miles.  Coming home took two days leaving Phoenix, up through Jerome, Sedona, Vegas (across Hoover Dam) then through Death Valley, up 395 and back to Sac through South Lake Tahoe down 50...

From 100 feet below Sea Level to over 8000 feet in the span of a few hours and a temp swing of over 50 degrees in that same time frame.  Death Valley scenix Byway is a must see sometime for everyone... just not in the summer IMO.

Looks like it was a great ride Chuck.  Looks like your return ride was pretty much the way I suggested.....I trust that you didn't run in to any obsticles other than the temps. :2vrolijk_21:

It was a great ride JC... really appreciate the suggestions. Wish we could have taken a little more time along the way but I'll go back another time when I'm not in such a hurry. :)
