One of the screws holding in the heat light bucket was missing on mine.  Put in a screw and had plenty of adjustment.  This was the Bat Wing, but could happen here also.

So chances are very high I'm totaly full of crap, I haven't messed with mine yet on any of the bikes, but, is it possible that the side adjustment screws are turned down to tight and therefore limiting the throw of either the up or down adjustment/movement ?

Not totally full of crap.  But mostly.  Spring on one side.  Adjuster on the other.  So only one side adjuster that pushes out or pulls in for side to side motion.  Same for top.  Single adjuster on top that pushes out to adjust down or pulls in to adjust up.  Very limited impact of one on the other.

Minor Setback,

While preparing to work on the headlamp assy I noticed that the right side of the fairing was loose especially compared to the left side.

Pulled the outer fairing off and sure enough the right bracket was broken at the inner fairing attachment point . Now waiting for the new bracket (updated version) to arrive and then I can tackle both jobs at once.

More later  :vrolijk17:

Might as well fix both sides while you're at it, that's what I did, made my own out of stainless steel, and a little thicker, no more problems now.  Good luck.

Not the whole bracket, just reinforcement. Here is a link to the CVO site where I found out everyone had problems with them, there is a lot of good info and other links to see what everyone has done.
