No update at this time.
Call the MOCO and ask for a reference number on your complaint about no update!

Latest version was the 2.0. I believe it was released in 2007-08. From everything I have heard, there will not be any additional updates. Harman cannot produce an update for this system without permission from Harley

Yep,  no more updates ...  sad but true.

But, I love my HK built in GPS   ;D

I know it lacks some bells and whisles ...  but the integration with the radio and other components such as XM IPOD CB and radio are very clean and makes up for what it lacks, for me anyway .   The only complaint i ever had with it was the fact it tied up my CD player, but now that i have IPOD interface, im totally satisified.

I just purchased a brand new garmin for my wife for christmas a few days ago and it didnt know about the huge gas station that has been two blocks away for 5 years.  Im just saying ...

No GPS is perfect.  The built in HK has never let me down yet, along with a little common sense thrown in.

I did purchased the 2.0 update from HD and made backup copies of the CD's with my buddies CD burner,  and thats what i used to update my firmware with and what i carry with me when i travel.  The originals stay safe at home.

I'm like you, I don't care for being able to see all the pretty pictures and that that comes up on the other screens. Hell I'm riding a motorcycle in areas that are unkown to me when using it, I don't have time to look down at it, just tell me where and when I need to turn. The only great difference is being able to plan a ride on your computer and then transfer it too your GPS. Now that part would be nice, planning your stops espicially when riding in large groups. This is what I don't understand all these guys talking about how great these units are but the first thing they are trying to do is hook the audio up when most of them had ones that had the audio but not the graphs and road pictures.

Another perspective from one who began using gps b4 he ever had the one on the H-K radio.  I like being able to see the road map on my gps - in fact I am addicted to it, I readily admit that.  What I find so appealing is that I can gauge what is upcoming - very nice to have in unfamiliar areas most especially on curvy roads.  I can clearly see what sort of turn I am in for - sweeper or pucker up hairpin.

I have the first generation GPS by RoadTech, it mounted on my handlebars. So I do know about the pictures and the roads, I just prefer keeping my eyes on the road, especially on unfamiliar roads this is why I like the one that is in the HK radio. This is just my opinion and my many experiences working accidents from driver inattention, yes they even have that worded on the standard accident report Driver inattention and I'm not saying anyone on here can't multi-task but there are alot of people that can't.
