Got the call today. Real bad timing
« on: December 14, 2010, 04:24:21 PM »

My new O/B was set to come in in Feb.011. Dealer called today to say it was in. Feb would have been a perfect time to get it after what is looking to be a long winter in Va.
In the mean time I had my hand operated on last Friday and will not be using it for 6 to 8 weeks. Wife came in yesterday and asked what it means when the truck revs to 5000 rpms and doesn't go anywhere. Just built a storage building ($3800). Just dumped $2000+ in my 09 CVO Fat Bob. It's Christmas time. In Feb I'll be in good shape but right now I wonder if anyone feels sorry for me. I'll be accepting contributions if anyone is interested in helping out a forum brother. I'll pick the bike up this weekend but because of the timing I won't be able to do the mods I had planned for Feb., until Feb. I guess it will be nice to walk out in the garage every day and at least look at it.

This looks like the right kind of problem to have.

Have your dealer ship it to Tucson and I can do the initial break-in before Feb. Should get at least 5000 miles on it before Feb.

Bad Timing? I here ya.
Snow on the ground here in St. Louis already. My 2011 Autumn Haze Street Glide with right at 1000 miles is sitting in the garage and my new pipes will be here today. I think I like the Arizona suggestions but maybe I should consider 2 houses. One for winter and one for summmer????

Good Luck with your hand!
