Here in Colorado the first stealer I went to wanted 2k over MSRP!!!!
I killed the deal when I found another local dealer selling at MSRP!!!!!
So now I have my 2011 FLTRUSE and I got it for MSRP.
Took the money I saved from the first deal and got the
5 year extended warranty and still came out ahead!!

If only more people did that and refused the upcharges, hell MSRP is thousands over what they pay for the bike.   Congrats on the new bike

Just bought an 11 CVO SG.  It was MSRP.  I have heard of dealers up-charging on the CVO's, but around here there are enough dealers who don't that they would be sitting on bikes if someone did.  Florida is another matter however.

Call Brighton HD in Brighton Michigan, ask for a Hank, he will give you a DisCOUNT!!  Economy still sucks here!  810 225-2915, tell him that Nick from the BMW store told you to call.

I wonder if these dealers go "hog wild" with the price since they are the only dealers in the area.  I mentioned it to my dealer and he said that if he tried that, everyone would go to the other dealers close by.  Where I live, there are 4 dealers within a 45 mile radius.

No pun intended on the hog wild..

When I was looking for my FLHXSE2 the Seattle area dealers who had the bike wanted $3-5k over MSRP with the exception of 1 dealer.  Unfortunately, their bike was in the wrong color.  Odd thing is, people were paying their inflated prices. I had to make quite a few calls before I found the color I wanted at MSRP and not have to travel out of state for it.  I ended up buying from Yakima, WA HD and there was no messing around. MSRP, fair price for my trade done deal in 24 hours.  Its a miracle since the FLHXSE2 in black was selling fast in this area.  At any rate, after buying mine 2 showed up in Oregon within a few weeks.  Both Black...  Eugene was MSRP and Portland wouldn't/couldn't give me a price.  I know, odd...  Either he didn't know or they were marking it up.  They had literally just wheeled it onto the floor when I walked in.  At any rate, nobody should pay over MSRP.  A little digging and lots of phone calls will find what you're looking for... IMHO
