Welcome to the site from Tennessee! When you get a chance go to the "New Member" topic and introduce yourself.
There are a lot of different slip-on choices, headpipes depends on what you are trying to achieve. Give us some more info. Is your new bike a CVO or a 96" or the Limited? Sound level and tone desired. Lot of guys running V@H X-pipe, Fullsac baffles installed in OEM muffler cans, 100's of different combos to pick from. I am running a catless headpipe off of a 96" bike purchased from forum member with 2.25" Fullsac baffles in my stock mufflers. They sound good, in no way are they too loud to me. The prices were reasonable. I wanted to keep the looks of the stock mufflers (I liked the look).

I'm running the fullsac x-pipe and 4" rinehart mufflers. Have that good rinehart sound and you loose the cat conv with the x-pipe.
Check out fullsac.com for the x-pipe.

Fullsac X-pipe first and you'll get a little more rumble from her even with stock muffs.  Nice thing about the FS:  stock heat shields go back on, so pipes route in the places HD designed them to, and to the man, it looks stock.  Bang for the buck on rumble and performance, also is the FS baffles, in MHO.(also look stock)  Three sizes, 1.75", 2.00", and 2.25" depending on how much Rumble you want.  Have the 1.75 on my own and like them.  FS is real easy to deal with, also.  And know these components have been developed on a dyno and tested by people that RIDE everyday.  FS(Steve) can also help with the fueling (he sells TTS and will supply a map developed on his dyno).

My .02

Let us know how she turns out

I am looking at te fullsac package, just been holding out and saving the money ( the cvo kind of depleted free money) 8) I will probably be pulling the plug after the holidays before I see how my credit card balance is. I am looking to cool it down (it is HOT) and a little tone.

After much, much back and forth I finally decide on the V & H Dresser Duals and the V & H Hi Output Slipons. I based my decision mainly on sound quality as I did not like the higher frequency "roar" of a 2-1-2 or the 2-1. I have always had good luck with V & H and I really could not get over the look of the Power Dual X-style cover. Plus, I tend to like my bikes a little louder. In the end I figured that a very small percentage of decreased low end torque would not impact the very low range 255 cams in by 2011 CVO Street Glide.

I bought them from Dennis Kirk (NO FREIGHT & NO TAX). 7 5/8% on that much money is a huge savings.

If the budget holds I will end up changing the cams to something that creates peak torque and HP later in the rpm range. This will include a good flow job on the heads and etc..

It's winter here so my next decision is on tuners. Nobody in my area knows anything about the TTS tuner. It's an even split here with the HD dealers on Power Commander and the new SE tuner. Most stand alone shops tell me to go with the Power Commander.

Tuner feedback would be appreciated.
