I was traveling on I-10 Santa Monica freeway yesterday and spotted a very strange motorcycle coming up from behind, lane splitting. The guy passed on my left side so I got a real good look at this thing. Big ass rotary airplane engine sitting in a chopper style frame. The sound of this thing is unexplainable as it loped on by. The bike looked like itz was done in solid copper with shinny clear coat. I've searching the net hoping to get some snap shot off this thing but can't find em,....... Anyone out there know about this bike,,, I sure would like to download some pictures of this and learn more about it.

You said like an aircraft engine so googled "motorcycle radial engine" and found a few examples.  Examples with the cylinders longitudinal under the frame or cross-ways in front.  To me it looked cooler across the front.

Neat stuff.  Always had a soft spot for radial engines.

my Google search didn't come up with it but this one is close.. The one i saw was all copper, even the motor.. Jay Leno? who knows,, it could have been him, now that i think about it very good possibility.

I remember Leno talking about a jet powered bike...he melted the front end of a Lexux that kept creeping up at a stop light.

I know there are some postings on youtube under rotary engine chopper, with running engine and a ride demo.
