Low microphone volume using HD bomm /road tech 660

Has anyone using the HD bomm and the Harley road tech 660 experiencing low microphone volume when using the wired microphone to talk on the phone? I was using a zumo 550 with no problems and just purchased the Harley tech 660 and have extremely low volume. My HD Bomm is only a few weeks old. I saw an older thread that Jim made some changes to his unit to eliminate this problem. I am assuming I have the updated model. Jim if you read this I would appreciate your help.

Sounds like you may have a bad wiring harness and or mount.
