New S&S Headers
« on: December 15, 2010, 09:30:52 AM »

So, this ain't no snake oil.... Fellow at the shop had the new S&S headers installed and then had the bike dyno'd, 5 more horsepower and 9 more ft lbs of torque, I saw the charts on the computer myself.

The heat shields that come with the kit are really nice too, they wrap right around and its really hard to see the pipe!!!

I thought that it was BS till I saw the numbers myself, they look great too, all for the same price range of most other brands on the market.

Vance & Hines, and the numbers were good off those, once they were replaced the numbers dropped until he realised that the S&S ones ran really lean, the power commander was adjusted and they got the new numbers.

Not bad results for the same price!

I haven't seen them listed from S&S, I just saw them on the bike.
