DOOFUS pic - TV Models

I was lucky enough to have 4 models from the TV show DEAL OR NO DEAL help me with the military charity I founded (REDWING 19).  One has become a great pal, MARISA PETRORO - she was case number 18 on the show is on the left in this picture.  The other great young lady is PILAR LASTRA -- not only was Pilar on the show but she was a Playboy centerfold in 06 I believe -- I took Pilar to Walter Reed Hospital to visit the recuperating vets - WHAT A HOOOT !!!  Anyway, this pic is at the West Wing of the White House -- I took the girls there along with a former co-worker from the USSS.  It was too much fun.

Here are the girls with the Fairfax County gear -- FX Fire provided us fantastic support for the start of the WORLD RECORD RIDE -- they set up with their ladder trux and displayed the US Flag with spot lights.  Very inspiring --

This was our 2008 Event at Fort Campbell with the 160th Nightstalkers as our host -- on the left is KRISSY CARLSON and the right is MYLINDA TOV -- both from the TV show DEAL OR NO DEAL.  Just really nice young ladies who genuinely cared about the cause --

Thnx -- it was a lot of work, coordination, etc.  Running a "charity" cost more money than I anticipated. But in our last year we raised $50k for the education of the kids affected by the losses of OPERATION REDWING -- that felt good for sure.  Best to you, DOOFUS

The charity and its IRS status ended with our last event in MAY 09.  It became very time consuming and required lots of support cash -- we just plain ran out.  However, there are some very worthy funds out there that are deductible.  The NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE FOUNDATION assists SEAL families and the NIGHTSTALKER ASSOCIATION can direct you to charities for the 160th SOAR.  And of course, your local military hospitals are always looking for people to help with events.  Thnx for asking, DOOFUS
