My SERK started burning huge amounts of oil (2nd time) so I took it in. First time it was the TSB. Rear cyl was the problem and the TSB was performed, problem solved. Later it started burning on the front cyl so in it goes under extended warranty. The front head was replaced, new rings on the front, etc. When I got it back it sounded odd. Sort of like a Honda, I swear!! As I was getting ready to leave the dealer, I stopped, got off, and listened from behind. The front cyl (true duals) was making as "sucking" sound, for lack of better description. The other cyl was hitting strong. Rode the thing on a trip to Maggie Valley and put it back in the shop when I got home. Tech said....are you ready....they all do it! I asked why the rear was not doing it. No answer for that. They check it out and supposedly did a leak down test since they had to grind the valves when they replaced the head. No problem supposedly found. Has anyone heard of anything like this? I wish I could post a video of it. I guess I could Utube something. Whatever it is, it started when the front cyl was worked on but what could it be?
