Sprung a leak
« on: January 08, 2011, 07:57:20 PM »

09 fat bob cvo, 1600 miles just behind the rear cyliner in the notch between the cases. Was this the same problem the 07 and 08's had?
Going to try the locktite 290 to seal it. Have warranty but I dont want the dealer taking this motor apart (I just put cr 575 cams and a se compensator in).  Ive got .0025 crank run out.
Fingers crossed.

The 07's and 08's had leaks at the joint between the rear cylinder and rear cylinder head - and at the center bolt of the the two case halves.  Both areas were addressed by the MOCO and seem to be resolved in the 09 and later 110's.

If your leak is where I think it is, the Locktite solution should work as long as you clean the area thoroughly....   :2vrolijk_21:
