How To?

I have a lot of parts from my 08SG how should I sell them? I don't want to get involved in shippig  and the hassle of it. I have Detachable back rest and stealth rack rush mufflers brand new front end springs and stock covers upgraded Harley speakers Highway brackets and pegs . what should I do with is? Does parts like this sell?

Sure they sell.  But you can't sell them if you're unwilling to ship them.  Your own backyard is a small target market.

take pictures and place on craigs list and/or on this site

should be all local buyers from  craigs list

Exactly...there is a section in this forum that you can list the items you're selling, Craig's List should be free listings, and if you don't have an E-bay account for selling, then you can set one up pretty easily. The pics are what really sell the items, so make sure that you're taking quality images and multiple angles.

Weight and in some cases size, if you want to go the mail route just click on the USPS website, there should be guidelines for you there... that will give you a rough estimate, just make sure you let the buyer know that the price doesn't include shipping.

Best practice is they will ask the rate and you provide the quote... or something like that.

One of two ways......pack it up and take it down to UPS or Fed Ex and they'll tell you what shipping costs are.  Or, set up your own UPS or Fed Ex account and get yourself a scale.  The second way has actually proved to be easier for me. :2vrolijk_21:

If you don't want to deal with shipping your only way is your local Craigslist or word of mouth over your back fence. :nixweiss:
