I'd said take the wife at her word and keep all four, but if she's testin' you, then, IMO being a full-dress/bagger guy since 1985, the SED would have to go.

You mention you bought the SED new.  I can understand the sentimental value and that's why I'm having a hard time thinking about selling or trading the '04 SEEG for a '11 or '11.5 SEUC even though I'd r e a l l y like to have one.  When you have them that long, something happens to your psyche and it's hard to think of letting them go.  Plus, it's a 100th anniversary bike.  They made a crapload of silver and black ones, but only the CVOs were gold and black and that's such a classy combo, particularly on those SEDs.  I think you need to keep it and sell the SESG.  Besides, three touring bikes just don't make any sense.  At least that's what I keep telling myself ... ;)

Thanks for the validation for my thoughts...One touring, One Dual Purpose, One Custom and One Bar-Hopper(Back Sack Distance) Bike

Vote tied again.

I am definately leaning towards keeping the SESG...lately, the fun of riding the SED is not as great as with the better handling SESG...keeping four is an option but the cost of a new SERGU is a bit much with no trade-in.  Not to mention MA insurance costs!

Bill

I looked them up on line the other day I saw $14,000 - $21,000. I guess you just have to do a little digging to find a true price, based on condition and add-on's. Bill, I think you should keep it one more year until I get my cabin done and then ride it out here and I could maybe talk Vicki into letting me take it off your hands!  :P

I would keep 'em all. I'm still regretting my trade in decision.

I know you save a little in taxes with a trade, but they don't give you much. You'll cry when they tell you what they'll give you for the SED! :bigcry:

I think Miker on the right track, you could keep it down in Fla part time then out here in Colorado, and we'll keep it in tune and ready to ride when you come out!! :2vrolijk_21:
