Take you hand and feel the tire. Is it dipped out on the sides? If so this is probably noise. Next it could be a wheel bearing. I have a buddy whos 2010 CVO Ultra had a front wheel bearing go bad. Had a roar at highway speed. Easy to hear if you pick the bike up and rotate the wheels.

New tire is on and noise is gone.  The red road glide was gone too.  At MSRP they couldn't sell it in a month.  So they traded it HD of Orlando.  Someone is getting a sweet new ride and the weather in fla has been really nice lately.  Oh well,  ya snooze ya lose. Someone once told me.   New Lyndall pads went on today too.   I'm ready for a trip now.  ;)
