Heavy breather / remap
« on: February 27, 2011, 02:28:14 AM »

Is there really that much more air flow on a heavy breather to have to remap?

Totally depends on what you breather you had before installing the heavy breather. If you have a Ventilator - no you will not need to remap as you didn't gain anything except a visual difference. If you have a non-CVO, or a older CVO with stock type breather you will need to remap especially  if you change exhaust as well. But Ventilator to Heavy breather-no need to change map. Talk to Steve @ Fullsac, he will tell you dyno proves venilator vs no breather at all is only about 3 horsepower at full throttle. Heavy breather same deal.
