Hmmm, a drop in the UK, in Sweden and Benelux only - what do they have in common 

UK is easy to explain, all new bikes went to Euro-Land so no new HOGgies for you  Sweden may have experienced a really nasty winter - but Benelux, ähm, no idea

the growing average age could be a factor, or the lingering effects of recession are two obvious possibilities but why are they not reflected in the rest of the european belt?

It would be interesting to see how the rice rocket membership fared news is less sports bikes more adventure /all rounders.

at least in Germany H-D gained market share with Sporties and Dynas last year - but that's only part of the picture because our dealer for instance could have sold more baggers if only H-D had delivered.
