Ernie,

Thanks for the pics.

Great local riding area. A good back road addition to your route is going to the Sunol Regional Wilderness area's Calaveras Road in Milpitas which will take you past the Calaveras Reservoir. (Look for Bald Eagles that nest on the top of utility towers at the reservoir.) This will put you out where you get onto Hwy 84 at I-680 that takes you into Livermore. (Unknown to most, the back area you were at between Livermore and Patterson also has a decent sized herd of Elk.)

The weather was excellent the last few weeks here. (A friend went to Tulsa this last week and there was an 80 degrees difference between their lows and our highs. Hopefully everybody experiencing these extreme lows are/were able to get through them with little negative impact.)

Rain is supposed to return Monday for a wet Valentines week.

It's good to see that people are taking advantage of the fortunate beautiful weather to ride because it's not normal for our NorCal February!

Get your "Motor Running Head", out on the highway!

What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men
