Extreme Weather!
« on: February 19, 2011, 07:13:54 AM »

The official weather report says that it was 95 F warmer this past Thursday than it was seven days earlier here in Southern Kansas.  In parts of Oklahoma the temperature swing was over 100 degrees difference.  Man, spring sure got here in a hurry!

Anyone else with cabin fever getting the bike out this weekend for the first ride of the season?

Get out there and ride brother :2vrolijk_21:. It is freezing up here. :(.

I was in the garage for 4 hours last night just dreaming of being able to ride.

Got mine out yesterday for the first time this year. Snow has receded and roads mostly dry, temp was barely above 50 with wind gusts to 40 mph, but I just couldn't wait any longer. Tender did it's job and my babe started right up. It was worth it, I spent about an hour in euphoria. Today is sunnier but temp back down to low 30's, wish I had warmer gear.

Enjoy! It won't be long before it can be everyday.

Most of our old dirty snow melted away in the last few days.

No worries...there's some fresh clean stuff forecast for tonight!

Get your "Motor Running Head", out on the highway!

What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men
