Carburetor conversion
« on: February 21, 2011, 05:03:48 PM »

Hi guys!
I just want to know if someone have already tried to install a carburetor on a 110' engine? I've seen many 96' done yet, but no 110'.
Bye!

Well I'll go ahead and say it...I would think a 110" could be changed to a carb setup...BUT I don't know why you would want to do that. Some might say it would have better performance but it would seem an equal performance improvement could be accomplished with larger injectors. IMO

Just to give you a little info, this article has been floating around the bike community for a few years now.

...and read this to understand why you might want to do it. It's amazing these new bikes run at all let alone expect a service tech to fix em.

I am not searching performance, but more sensation. A carburetor engine works differently, it's more rough.
