ANYBODY KNOW ???
« on: March 25, 2011, 06:31:41 AM »

Does anybody know if there is a way to connect directly with H-D to verify a build date on a new bike order. My dealer has been telling me that it is reported to him by Harley that the bike is in the "build stage".
It has been about 5 weeks now and he has no "new" info. I did a little research on York H-D plant, were it is coming from and the site reports that they build 500 bikes a day. After I put down my deposit on the ordered bike he doesn't seem to know that I'm in his store any more when I go in. Would love to go to the horse's mouth instead of the horse's *ss. Anybody have any solutions ?

The other question that I wanted to get a take on.
I will be taking off my Screaming Eagle duals, new 0
miles on system. replacing them w/2-1.
Anybody know the best place to list them for sale ?
                      ~ THANKS~

Have you met with the sales manager of that store or the general manager of the dealership?  They should be able to tell you when your bike is due.....although that date can change from time to time.....at least it's  target date.

You may be able to sell your exhaust right here on this forum.....in the selling board.

Just a suggestion.....you might want to spend a little time here doing some research on exhausts.  By far, the majority of the 110" owners keep the 2 into 1 into 2 exhaust system for the even, dual look as well as performance reasons that the 2 into 1 doesn't provide (unless it has the fake left side).  Remove the cat from the head pipe and Fullsac baffles and you're good to go!  Leaves the rest of your money for other mods. :2vrolijk_21:   Click on this link for an answer to your question.....  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=46887.0

The search feature on this board works great. :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks JCZ, I've talked to the owner of the dealership and  I think that he really doesn't have that info available to him. I'l check out that site. Thanks again.
