I have a 08 CVO roadking in this paint scheme-http://www.harley-motorcycles.org/1804/2008-harley-davidson-flhrse4-screamin-eagle-road-king/2008-cvo-flhrse4screamineagleroadkinga/. I am looking at adding a rear fender, stretched hard bags, and side fillers from sinister industries to the bike.
http://www.sinisterindustries.com/store/shop/ Trouble is I want to preserve the factory paint scheme but not sure on what direction to go with? Rear fender- probably just mirror the front fender. The hard bags and side filler can either match the current paint job on the side cover-mostly blue into black. Or what I would prefer is that they match the tank a little better by following that design and incorporating in the ghost flames, grey, blue, and black. Another idea is have the hard bags wrapped in leather to match the factory CVO saddle bags. Haven't seen it done, they may be a reason for it though. Any advice on the matching the paint scheme is appreciated. Any recommendations for a painter in vegas? Any recommendations for a different vendor for the items I want to add? Looking to preserve the ability to add the tour pak while still changing the fender.
Any one heard of the "hop up" kit for the 110s? Local dealer said kit is 1500 and about 1500 to install. Not sure of the performance gains. It consists of changing the cams and maybe more, not sure.
Any one use this air intake -
http://www.jpcycles.com/product/402-554 I still have the intake that came with the 08 CVO, any experience with the gains switching it out?
Also recently serviced my bike and replaced the rear tire. It feels like I have more of the wibbles now. Checked the air pressure and it was all correct. Never had a problem with the wobbles really before with this bike except when tire pressure got low.
Thanks for any advice.
