Just got back from a 20 minute drive down the interstate and realized that my saddlebag lid was not latched.  I never noticed that it was unlatched, but don't think it flew open or flapped around.  I got a red magic marker and put some red marks on the latch part attached to the top lid.  Now if I put lid down and forget to actually latch it, it is real easy to see.  You see the red marks.  Once properly latched, there is no red showing.  Seems like a real simple thing to do,  that may save some aggravation down the road.  Took some pictures, but the quality is somewhat questionable. One pic shows the lid open, one with lid closed but not latched, and one with lid closed and latched.
