Heated seat advice
« on: April 16, 2011, 08:58:13 AM »

Getting ready to pop for a new seat. Gotta stay heated or get divorce. Hve always used Mustang and have never been unhappy. Need some advice because I can get a really good deal on a Harley Sun Ray seat, but have never used one. Does anyone know how they compare to a Mustang?

IMHO, the Mustang seat is in a totally different league.  It is head & sholders better than the Sun Ray.

My Sun Ray seat broke down in less than 15,000 miles 2up.  I sold it on EBay & felt guilty about it.  We have a Mustang with 14,000 miles on it & it is like new.

Now, if you want a real seat, go to Corbin & get a Corbin custome built to fit you.  That's what we have on the CVO, 45,000 flawless miles

If you liked Mustang, get another one. They do have vendors that put the heat in them.
I know a few places where the full dresser Mustang seats are in the upper $300,
and about $150 to add heat.  Good luck with whatever is your choice.
