I have not used Iron Cross, but we hear nothing but great things about them.  I hear they get it right back out almost immediately too.  Try them :2vrolijk_21:

You should also consider changing the handlebar bolts to a newer version HD uses with a shorter head.  HD issued a service bulletin (?) to dealers stating that there were instances of bolt heads touching the bottom of the radio chassis transferring vibration to the HK radio causing radio failures.  HD announced in the communication the use of replacement screws with a shorter head to avoid the contact between bolt head and radio chassis.

Iron Cross Audio probably is familiar with the Service Bulletin; so, while the radio is out, replace the bolts.

 Iron cross  :2vrolijk_21:

 IMO

One thing to consitter is they can change the color on the background and font on you radio, my eye's are bad and i can't see the info.  I tell you this because it might be a good time to get it change out while they have it.

Something I wish i had done

I may still have the part number at home if you need it. I used the shorter bolts when I swapped my bars over the winter.

Part number 1260003.  Service bulletin number is M1289 10/11/2010. Order 2 sets and you will get all 4 bolts--or just order 1 and you will get 2 bolts to replace the ones under the radio.

One thing to remember when you attempt this.  Make sure you have ball end Allen wrenches handy to remove the radio.   I don't think it can be done without them.  Just sayin' :nixweiss:
