Dr. V-Twin has the 500 amp available for the batwing fairings, $599.95 for it as well as the Rokker speakers for both RG and EG for $299.95. Don't know if the 500 amp for the RG is available yet but their website has the info on their front page specials. Looking to order the Rokkers and a 250 watt amp for my SERG soon, maybe get a free t-shirt out of the deal!!!lol. :drink:

Try $599.95, unless he's offering us some kind of an additional deal. Still I'd wait to get some reviews and see how hard it is to wedge it in there with the CB and XM units.

J&M offers a bracket that relocates XM, CB or IPOD units (it fits 2 modules) to below the radio, then mounts the amp on top.

Yes, I've seen the pic on the website, but still have not seen anyone actually attempt the install yet and how the things sounds. I already have the 7.25's but will wait until we get a few braver souls to report back.

Just installed the Rokkers 7.25 and the J&M 250 Amp on my 09 SERG last night. I also added the HD Ipod interface while I was at it. But back to the amp and speakers. I replaced the Hawg Wired Direct Connect system and I don't even have the outer fairing back on yet and am very impressed. Sounds Great and will only get better once I get the fairing shell back on with there pad kit that comes with the speakers. Easy install, the J&M stuff actually fit and went on easier than the HD Ipod kit that I installed with it. Got mine through Shawn at Dr. V Twin, 599.99 delivered to my door. It was the best price I found. I had to wait a couple of weeks because the amp was on back order. But it is in now and I am very pleased.    :) :) :)

Yeah, the 250W amp was a pretty easy install, size-wise, from what others have reported.  The 500W amp is the big question mark!

Yes, hope Ultrafan can provide info on his installation.  I read on another forum from a guy who installed the Rokker 7.25's on his '10 SG that the speaker depth is deep enough to leave indentation marks from the speakers on the thin foam supplied with the speakers to line the inner surface of the outer fairing.

It will also be interesting to learn how guys cut the 1/2" material from the bottoms of the plastic retaining cups that secure the speedo and tach to provide more depth for mounting the amp above the radio.

So here I am again. Have the 09 SERG with the old Hawg wired system and speakers. About 15 months old but time for an upgrade and thinking about adding vented lowers with speakers as well. So I'm really going to need some power. Would like some input on what to buy the new hawg wired amp and new bigger speakers ( hear they work together well) or the new J&M 500 watt and new speakers? Then lowers and such? any advice
