Cleaning the Ole Ride
« on: December 13, 2015, 10:38:02 AM »

I went a little farther with the detailing today... Was supposed to be a wash / wax day, but my OCD went a little further..

Deflectorized the front lowers, removed the A/C decal and the decal on the crash bar...

Waxed under seats and did some chrome polishing....

Sure looks good when she had a good bath... and some grooming...

Nice job, what was your process to remove the reflector.

Gently pry away from leg and pull slowly and the adhesive tape comes right off...

Every time I get a new Bike I just take a blow dryer onto the forks and warm up the reflectors until you can move them around just a little, then take a piece of fishing line and run it right down the back side along the fork and Zero mess.  Works great.

Looks great!  :2vrolijk_21:

I cleaned mine Saturday and it looked too good to go for a ride with showers around so its shiny self went back in the garage.

Looks very nice. My old reflectors are on my mail box pole and work great at night, so I know where to turn.

I use fishing line to slice behind the reflectors!
