I'm doing a rear swing arm wheel & tire conversion on my 2002 FLHT to a wider 2009 has any one done this and what should i look out for. Any trouble shooting tips.

keep me posted - the only item on my bike id really like to change is the rear swingarm

i run a sidecar and the more room in the swingarm the more normal a car tire i can put back there

I did almost the same to my 2008 Ultra:All works good :)

OK almost every one has told me you can't install a 2009 swing arm in a 2002 FLHT. And your right it doesn't just bolt in BUT with a little custom work to the swing arm it  fits just fine and i have all the shock travel i need. Then with some machine work to the drive pulley and wheel hub every thing fits just fine. I got all parts to do this work off Ebay at a fraction of the cost.
