I thought about it and saw the 2012's in Sturgis. Thought about it some more. Could not get over (1) the backed out parts; (2) the skulls; and (3) the crappy job the factory did with the i-pod cable sticking out like a sore thumb between the saddle bag lid and the fender. None of the other CVO models have that i-pod cable there. I'll keep my O/B for a long time or at least until the factory does a better job.

Demo weekend here at the harley store was my first skunk walkaround. Nice looking bike but no wow factor like the O/B struck me with in '09.

I just got my 09 silver and there is no way I would go a 12. Blacked out is not as appealing as chrome and you are right about the inner fairing I like the color match myself.

It seems like all of us w/ the 2009's CVO RG feel about the same way. No

offense to any new 2012's owners, because my wife really likes the new Blue

one and really wants me to sell my YELLOWBIRD for the BLUE SKULL.

I just can't justify it everytime I look or ride my scooter!
