just looking for opinions on what a 2009 FLHTCUSE4 Silver/Blue is worth. Thinking about selling mine to a friend to buy an '11.

how many miles, what kind of extras, what kind of shape is the paint in? The bluebook, in rough condition says $23,990, good is $26,740, good retail is $31,885.

Mine has a few more changes, but a few more miles also. I wouldn't take less than 27K........unless I was starving.

Probably more important to ask what the friend thinks it's worth

, but if the two of you are haggling I'd suggest you both sit down at the computer and go to www.kbb.com and www.nadaguides.com to see what they say are the current trade-in and retail values. Usually when selling to a private party, a fair price is about halfway between trade-in and retail. If you have the ESP you can have it transferred to the friend and that will add to the price as well.
