Any DVD ripping software recommendations?
« on: June 02, 2011, 01:21:30 PM »

I am trying to find a good free DVD ripping program that will allow me to get my legally purchased "Thomas the Tank Engine" DVDs into iTunes so my son can view them on my iPad.

Anyone know of a good one?

Handbrake is the gold standard. Free and works great. Google Handbrake for lots of user tips. How you rip can be dependent on what device you want to view it on.

I use DVDFAB8 for ripping, and DVD Shrink 3.2 for large files. Both free and work great.
