phatty i'm considering a tour pack and or a rack for the long haul or just carrying stuff in town. what is ur opinion on the chopped pack versus the king pack??? What type of capacity do get or lose? Why chopped and not a full size t pack?

Well I've had several chopped packs and i love the way they look, but I jsut ordered the King, since it's the same price, and it provides Wendy with WAY more comfort than a little chopped back rest pad. This way she gets the larger arm rest pad that cover more of her back..and she'll quit pooking me asking for more Motrin during a ride  :D

Lot's to buy with the kit though...tour pack, two up rack, 4 point hardware, locks, back rest...my dealer is cutting me some slack, but it's still kinda a painful check to write, mostly cause it'll only be on when Wendys riding..dont tell her I said that... :o

I believe there's a couple of threads on this question and quite length, too.  Try the search feature or just scroll down the Street Glide board, it may be in there.

If you have the black diamond 2011 cvo, and you won't have your tourpak on that often, consider buying the vivid black. That's what I did. It's half the price of the cvo color and you can't notice the difference in the black unless you look very very close. No one else would ever know.

there is no doubt that the custom painted tour pak looks bad a$$!! I paid $500 for a Vivid black chopped tour pak that was like new. To be honest, it is very hard to tell the difference in color. A light layer of dust makes them look the same. The amount that I use it, I will live without the stripes.
