Yep, thats correct.  Your Zuma has MP3 player, however you need to use aux plug in order to play through HK radio system.  Ipod interface is your only option which is an easy install and another $350.

Which interface are you talking about? The Navigation Interface or the IPod interface or both? :nixweiss:

And why don't you want to use the Aux input?

There is a way to add an AUX input inside the fairing if your concern is having a visible cable plugged into the radio all the time.  Search on the site, I'm sure I've seen more than one thread on the subject.

There is always a way to do things differently, it's just not part of the typical dealership's repertoire to do anything more complicated than change parts or do the plug and play plain vanilla installs.  And considering the quality of the "techs" in many of these places, it's probably a good idea they don't start hacking up wiring to do custom installs.

If you send the HK radio to Iron Cross Radio, they can relocate the aux jack to the back of your radio.. No cables sticking out of the front side and works fine.    :2vrolijk_21:
