Help Me Find the Hogsback
« on: June 20, 2011, 03:47:39 PM »

Lord knows we can't just refer to a road by it's given number we have to assign spectacular  names to them. We have The Dragon, Snake, Devils Triangle................an on and on. So now I heard of a curvy road coming out of Byrdstown TN. Can any one tell which road is the Hogsback?

Do you all have these roads and names where you ride?

The Hogsback is the name given to part of the A31 between Farnham & Guildford in Surrey.

That may be it but I did not see which road it was in TN? Did you? Surface does look poor but that is the way it goes in some rural counties in TN.

Thanks for putting that up Talon. Just came across it on the way to/from Laconia. Hot chocolate at the store was most welcome on a cold and wet day. Route 9 is an excellent riding road.
