iPad 3 - tips * suggestions * APPs?

OK, searched and didnt find anything, so starting an iPad 3 thread.

Got one yet?
Stopped at my local Verizon store on the launch date just to see I
When they would have them.

Turns out there was one in the back.
My wife has the original, and it works good for her, figured I could probably cut my laptop time down to a third with a tablet.

This new version is pretty neat. Works well with my iPhone too. Nice that everything self syncs. I might just be a convert soon for a Mac, although that is a pricey transition after using PC's since the beginning.

One thing I just found, when typing and entering all UPPECASE I found it a chore to keep tapping the uppercase key.

If you tap both left and right keys it locks the shift.

New I-pad3---sooo much easier to read CVO forum than the I phone. No computer, so I have no comparison/experience. Late bloomer, I guess. This is a sweet toy though.         JoeS

i like mine as well.   Wouldn't an Iphone/Ipad app be great

There is an app for this forum on tapatalk.  I used it for awhile but like the web access site better.

No more computers for me, the iPad is it!

NOW if we can just get the ability to post pictures on the site directly from the iPad/iPhone.

BTW: I discovered that you can double tap the arrow and it will allow your text to remain in upper case UNLESS you hit the number key then it goes back to lower case.

AIRPRINT--Is a huge feature.  I can sit in my recliner and print stuff to my new Airprint printer.  It's a HP ENVY 114 that I bought on line when they reduced the price by $50 to $199 plus tx but with free shipping.

The printer was on my door step in 4 days. 

A WORD OF CAUTION, THE STREAMING FEATURE FOR PHOTOS HAS AN AUTO PURGE CYCLE. IF YOU DON'T SAVE THE PICTURES THEY WILL BE LOST.

Also, go to the Apple Web site and the New iPad page and download the extensive instruction manual in PDF format.
