J&M headsets ALL feature the same type of "Dynamic" microphone element that is used in the harley brand headsets, only smaller and of higher quality ,,,,,,

going back to the J&M headsets that you were having problems with on the Harley CB radio ,,,, were they the -HO (high-output) models ? ,,,,

This is the model provided. HS-ICD629-HJBT-HO.  This was taken from the order acknowledgement.  Please understand, I can adjust the set up to work just fine with the intercom, and VOX and they work fine.  My complaint was that riding with a friend regularly who also has the J&M head set I just adjust the volume of the CB up and we communicate just fine, but when I ride with my local hog group I have to turn the volume down as they are to loud when using the HD set up. When the group is set up to listen to each other then my volume to them is to low to be heard clearly.  I am just fine when using my original HD set up on my other helmets so the radio is working just fine.  The clarity of the head sets is fine as is the fit and the clean installation on the HJC helmets is one of the main reasons I went this way.  My intention of telling J&M about my finding was so that maybe you can address this at some point.  Is there anything I can do to improve the CB performance.Thanks

I guess that ends the discussion with J&M same thing happened when I tried to contact the company direct.  Don't know why no further response.  Still not happy with the microphone when used with the CB.  Maybe they are researching the problem.
