Nice looking Deluxe, especially like the Nostalgic looking bags. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I noticed speakers on the handlebars, what type of sound system do you have on it? I have a friend that has a 03 SERK, and is looking at someway to get some tunes other then adding a fairing.

Fired00d,
The Bags are a remake to Spec. of a set of Old Panhead Bags, The Audio I just installed on my wifes Deluxe before we rode to Myrtle Beach. They are a set of amplified speakers from J&M Electronics. They mount to your standard switchhousing bolts. Once installed you hook up a mp3, or walkman type device. I actually had them a roadking of mine a few years back. They work Great and are loud when the volume is up. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Dave

s/eDave,
Thanks for the reply. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Something like that is exactly what he's looking for. I checked out there website, and he is wanting something he can hook his XM radio up to, and it can be done with this. He rode on my bike while I was visiting him during MBBW, and he really wants some tunes on his scooter now.

TUNES would be nice!  Can you show close-up photos?  I have an Ipod but unless I get a helmet with a built-in speakers with an input, it's not going to last long!  It's difficult to get the earbuds or wrap-arounds to stay in place while putting on a helmet!

I agree with d00d, nice BAGS!!!   Nice tat too!  What's the rest of it look like?

Vgirl,
I'll post a close up on the speakers later today. Check out J&M Electronics web site. They serve the purpose. They plug right in to an Ipod. They are amplified and play loud enough to hear even at highway speeds. The Tattoo is pretty much what you see just a kind of  upper sleeve.  Dave

Here's the link to the JP radio and speakers info:

http://www.jmcorp.com/SeeProducts.asp?PF=16

Looks like an easy way to add tunes to the more lean model CVO's.

I agree that it is a moving ride and that everyone should experience it at least once. As a 70-74 vet, I personally would not miss the opportunity to go visit with my brothers on the wall, however I think I have made my last run to the wall. If I wanted to visit a dragstrip, I'd go to Bristol or Pomona, not Constitution Ave. I've never seen a less organized, more dangerous display than I saw this year. Each of you who busted ass up Constitution at 70 should ask yourself why you were there. One down bike could have taken out a lot of fellow riders.
Peace....
