The unit may be 06 but the CD's I got seem to be pretty current with recent streets in my area. 

Hi there, if you have time, please take a look at the box the CD's are in. There is a H-D part number on it. Mine ends -06. I wonder what yours says.

Mine has 76472-06A U.S. on the back.  The "flap" had a seal sticker that has (Navigation CD United States V2.0).  Assume (or hope) they will make available future updates.  Or, by then they will probably have a new improved unit and obsolete the one we have and we will be stuck no way to update.

Mine has 76403-06 on the back.
The "flap" had a seal sticker that has "Harley Davidson Europe CD V. 1.0".

I wonder if this is the latest version, and what the cost would be to get this (or a newer) European Nav CD.  It would come in more handy the next 3 years than my present US version.  Of course knowing HD it's probably a couple hundred dollars, and I will be able to get a Garmin GPS cheaper...

Chicago HD shows part 76472-06A as $175.25 ($140.20 after discount) and same price for the Europe part listed above.

I ordered this CD ROM from Appalachian HD and it was $160 after the discount they gave me.  Chicago HD is cheaper but would probably have cost me more to ship it than $20.  It is backordered, but only by a couple of days.  I have until August for it to come in so that I can take it with me when I PCS.

One  good thing about a GPS in Europe is that it shows what direction you are heading.  As I recall the roads do NOT list a direction, simply a town heading one way and a town heading another way.  When they list big towns like Heidelberg and Frankfurt its not too bad but when they list small towns you have never heard of it is a 50/50 proposition which way to go.  The built in GPS shows direction, so at least I will know if I am heading where I want to go.

I got the part number: 76472-06a because i live in Quebec Canada...

Unfortunately, my disc 2 of 3 is broken...!!!  :(

Is it possible to have a copy of this disk..???
