just curious if I could pick up the tool needed to remove the front caliper bolts from an auto supply store or maybe even Sears. Out of all the tools I have, that one has yet to hit the garage

Assuming you are talking about the bolts that hold the calipers to the fork legs, my '03 and '05 use a 12 point 10mm socket.  Any auto parts store, Sears, Northern Tool, etc.
