TTS question regarding speedo adjustment
« on: July 06, 2011, 10:19:14 PM »

I printed out the manual that came with the CD, but I don't see it anywhere in there.

Can someone point me out to where it shows how to adjust the speedo for a gear change?

Thanks.

TTS question regarding speedo adjustment

I didnt recall the speedo option popping up before, but then again, I've only had the TTS plugged in the one time when I initially downloaded my Fullsac map.

I'll give 'er a shot- thanks for the link Murphy.

When you program a cal the window pop's up like the window for compression release.  The speedo correction is a number in the 2000 range.  Just up it or lower it by the same percentage your speedo is off.

I couldn't remember but you change it (speedo) when you are doing the download-bike hooked to computer.

Sorry, just to clarify, do I have to go through the procedure for loading the map again in order to be able to adjust the speedo, or is there steps I can do just to adjust the speedo without having to re-load the map?

Also, I remember in another thread that for a 09 SERG with a 30T pulley, the correction number was 2350- since the values are in the 2000's, does the "350" part represent a 3.5% change?

I'm only doing a 31T, and the way it sits now, the speedo runs about 3-4 mph faster than the GPS speed at 75 mph, but I'll check the difference in indicated vs GPS speed once the pulley is installed, and figure out the percentage difference.

Yes, you need to load Mastertune just as you are going to reprogram to allow for a speedo adjustment.
