 Not sure if Gary will move this to Humor, but here goes.
As many know we downgraded from our 06 SEUC to a 05 SEEG. Why? Hard to explain, but I wanted to!
Now some upgrades will HAVE to happen (we all know that story), stereo, king t/p, seat, etc.
First big score! Found a new in box factory t/p lid for a Teal, seller asked 795, then 595, contacted them and got it for 370 shipped, can't paint it for that.
Well now I need the bottom, these still sell for a few hundred even slightly damaged. Well yesterday one comes up on ebay, but I don't need the lid, asking 200, so I
contact them, "I only need the bottom of the set your selling, would you consider 120 shipped for it?" Well I got it, cool.
I only wanted the plain style t/p, no lights like a ultra, single antenna type, that is what is coming. Now I need hinges, latches, back rest, detachable hardware, paint, etc.
15 min. after I have the base coming.............Craigslist ad shows up for a 2002 K/T/P, complete with luggage rack, lighted spoiler, back rest, lock, latches, plain unit, single
antenna mount $400.00 @#****%@@#!!!
 Yes I went and bought it this morning, we'll have to sell some of the other pieces I have coming (not the Teal lid) and the lid off this complete unit.
Isn't that just how it happens, a better deal is always just 15 min. off of the deal you just completed!

Sounds like my Luck as well, I bought faring and hard bags on e-bay, could not find King T-P, Bought a new one from Jenni, Two days later found T-P's on e-bay.
