Is there a tool list somewhere that would cover every single thing you would need for a 09 FLTRSE3?

No all inclusive master tool list.  Short of that, however, the answer would still vary depending on how much maintenance you were willing or interested in doing.  The range would be sets of allen and torx sockets and handles at the entry level to things like specialty tools for aligning the ignition switch, changing tranny mainshaft bearing races or installing engine bearings at the more extreme end of the spectrum.

Honestly you very likely don't want "everything."  Hell of an expense for statistically improbable need.  Add the basics to your tool collection.  Get any specialty stuff later when/if you need it.

I have a Wind Zone tool kit...a small air compressor...and a tire plug kit. If the problem goes beyond what these can fix...all I need is a cell phone to call a tow to the nearest dealership.  ;)

all you need is a hammer, a can of WD40 and duct tape

What the hammer will not fix, use below instructions.

If it supposed to move and it does not..........spray it with WD40

If it moves and it is not supposed to move..........use the duct tape

Wrong tools Spyder.  Remember the time honored truism.  With a BFH and a gas torch you can fix anything.

What have you got already?  I have thousands of dollars worth of tools in a roll around chest.  I didn't go out and buy them all at once, but have collected things over the years on an as needed basis, as have most folks that like to at least attempt their own work on whatever needs fixin'.

In addition to the Harley tool kit, I also bought the Cruztools H3, a Slime Compressor, and a S&G Tire Repair Kit. I got to use some of these on friends bikes a couple of times on the way to Sturgis and back. Snap-On makes a more comprehensive kit than the Cruztools, but it's very pricy, and surprisingly for nearly $300, is missing a T27, which is a must have for Batwings. Imho, the Cruztools is very nice quality and is an excellent bang for the buck for less than $90. I just added a T27 driver and a few other things, and I think I can handle 90% of what could go wrong on the road.  If you're talking about tools for the home workshop, the sky's the limit.  There I'd start with a nice lift - I love my SAM 2.

Hope this helps.

Thankis for the replies.  I was thiking more for traveling.  I have alot of tools in the garage.  It seems like I throw half of them in the saddlebag.   Just want to be more organized with less weight for trips.
