I received my O&B bike a few months ago and noticed the tank had some problems with the paint. Smears and fingerprints actually in the paint under the clear...i figured no biggy HD will fix it. console and console insert was the same. ordered, under warranty, new stuff.

it came in today so i went by the dealer to check it out. Console was fine, console insert on BO, tank worse than the original. 8 smears at least 4 areas where fingerprints are in the clear, and worse yet...a 50 cent piece size dent.

Wow..how can this crap even get outta the factory..?

Seems some slip out of the factory without being caught. I had the gas tank replaced twice on my 2010 SESG Spiced Rum. 3rd tank is pretty good.

I've noticed minor imperfections in the paint on the krypto, nothing I wouldn't expect from any custom painter.

There is a small particle under the clear on the front fairing sitting on the green.  You wouldn't notice it if you didn't wax it from 2 inches away like I do.  I also notice where they touch up the pinstripping by hand, nothing unusual though.

Makes you wonder what is going on up there when you see fingerprints UNDER the clear.

I guess I got lucky. The Hot Citrus paint on my new 2012 CVO SG is absolutely flawless. Must have been painted at 10:00 AM on a Wednesday!
