I would suggest a 8' wide trailer. Makes life easier to load bikes and tie them down. You would not have to stagger them, but if you got the room I would. Just my 2 cents.
I agree with the 8 foot my 7.5 is tight with two dressers!!

7 wide works fine for two dressers, you do have to stagger them, but that is why trailer is 12" long. Condor or Bike Pro chocks make loading alot easier and a one man job, just ride in, get off and then tie them down. Alot harder with a Pingel, almost need two people, one to sit on and hold bike and one to tie them down. DO NOT USE Cam loks, they slip and come loose. Buy the very best tiedowns you can afford, Big Daddys are good and have soft ties sewn in or any of the upper end ratchet units, set the bike up first to be tied down, either the HD or Kurakyn tie down mounts on a dresser are a slick deal for the frt and in the rear pull forward from the frame area of rear foot peg mount area to keep rear of bike from "swinging" in a accident into the other bike or wall of the trailer. Pingel has a very good diagram on there web page on how/were to tie the bike down. Alot of different opinions on how to tie down a bike on here and other webpages, but look at it this way, when you are finished tieing it down, stand back and think, if this trailer turns on it side or upside down will my bike still be in the chock? or on top of the other bike? If properly tied down it would flex and probably make contact with the wall and the other bike but still be in the chock and vertical. And I promise you, wrecks do happen.
