Clearview Shield For Road King
« on: May 15, 2006, 03:37:25 PM »

I've read a great deal about the quality, fit and finish of Clearview Shields for FLHT models, but not much about them for Road Kings.  So, I decided to give one a try.  What you see here is a 19.5" lightly tinted model with the Eurolip, and I'll tell you...this is by far the best windshield that I have ever seen.  The Lexan is much thicker than stock, thus it doesn't flex as much, the tint is toward a gold color, and not grey...very nice.  And the Eurolip is just the chits...it cuts the wind noise that I hear by an estimated 75% or more!  And finally, it may just be my imagination, but the bike seems more steady and tracks straighter at highway speeds.  Although I don't recommend it, I find that it's easy to ride, even with no hands.

Yep, it's under there, but just a skeleton of what it once was.
