I wouldn't try to force that install since you don't have the Road Tech... if you don't think you software/firmware is up to date just run the webupdater and it will find anything (the right things) you need.

If you wanted to try it the first thing you need to do is copy all the files on your Zumo to your computer. That way if for some reason the download goes through and you see a problem with the operation of your Zumo all you need to do is delete all the files in your Zumo and copy the old files from your computer back to the Zumo. Depending on the speed of your computer this could take about an hour.

You could be the tester if you wanted but I don't think the download will even start as I am sure it looks to see if you have a Road Tech (via serial #) before it downloads, but you can try we could all be wrong because no one has tried it that we know of.

Hi all,
Bringing back up this old theme and checking for any further experience since then....
Installing the HD 660 update would potentially solve my compatibility issue. Just wonder how to get hold of the GCD file to maneuver around the web-updater? Ultrafxr - how did you manage the 660 to accept the Road Tech update?
