ECM flash for rough idle
« on: August 26, 2011, 06:56:37 PM »

I was doing a search for ECM stage I, II, III and happend across a thread that talks about rough idle and a factory ECM flash cure.  If I am experiencing a rough idle, should I assume that my ECM has not been flashed?  Does anyone know what that will cost me, if it's still available and/or if I can do it myself? (probably not)  Mine has a Power Commander, but I don't know which one or when it was installed, since I bought the bike used.

Thanks!

unplug it. plug the the ecm back together without the PC and see if your idle smooths out.
I have seen them go south,so bad that the bike wouldnt even start. raw fuel running out the intake.
yours sounds a little more subtle than that. but it dosent cost anything to see.
