110 tear down ?'s
« on: August 30, 2011, 10:54:57 PM »

Guy's I need some advice.  My 09 110 is being torn down due to bad finish on the cases and wanted to know what we should do at a minimum while were in there? Currently running a TW-7H woods cam and directional roller lifters with a D&D Boss 2 into 1 loud baffle.  I was thinking I'll have the crank checked and welded if its good and the 10.5 pistons with an .030 head gasket.  Anything else I should look at.  I'm assuming the dealer will resurface/deck the heads if they don't I'll add that to the list.  Just want to try to due it right but not go overboard with the budget.

                                                                      Thanks Again,
                                                                               Cory

Weld and true crank, HD 10.5 +.010 pistons bore and hone with tQ plates, replace guides in the heads, geometry adjustments, roller rockers, Timken Cam bearings,
