« on: September 07, 2011, 04:59:40 PM »

Hi There,

Has anyone installed the new Hawg-Wired ZX Series 6.5 Component Speakers, and if so, would love to get some input about them. How do you like them, how is the sound, what amp are you powering them with etc.......

Huge difference between these and the 5.25". I have them in both uppers and lowers and they are great. I have installed several on all the different HW amps and all are very happy with the performance.

Thanks Jim, I have the "four in the face" system now with the PSC3004 amp and four CX Series speakers. Is it a matter of just adding the adapters to the fairing and the lowers for the install in addition to changing the crossovers?

How would those speakers work with the 1202 120w amp?  Would that be a good combination?

Bought speaker/amp combo from Jim. Very happy with sound. I think the amp is a 150watt.

Tom;
You will need to change the x-overs as well. They are different for the ZX speakers.

The DCS1202 will drive them fine :2vrolijk_21:
